From lazing and daydreaming in sunny Sheep Meadow, to listening to music and watching the street artists at The Mall, to joining a drum circle as the smell of Juniper lingers in the breeze at the shady and cool Strawberry Fields, there is something for every vibe and everybody in Central Park. Cultures collide, hobbyists unite, and inspiration fills the soul at every turn.
As the world slowly starts to reopen and we socially distance outside of the home, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the past eight weeks. There have been plenty of ups and downs in the world around us, in our relationship, in our relationship with our cats, and with our ever growing wanderlust.
The light at the end of this tunnel shines brightly. Don’t think this is end. The earth is using this time; it’s healing itself. People around the world are coming together to show compassion and love for their fellow man. Animals are taking over their natural habitats and enjoying their time for freedom. And, we will too. This too shall pass.
